So I'm back in Southern California AGAIN. This is the last time for a while, unless someone pays my travel expenses. I feel like I've spent the last month and a half living out of a suitcase, and I'm a little tired of it. I don't mind the traveling - I'd just rather go to places I haven't been before, or at least places more interesting than "home".

I just got a ginormous tattoo of a fruitbat on my arm. Pictures soon, but it's extremely awesome and I'm very proud of it. Also, other things have been happening, and they are all interesting. I'm not ready to talk about them yet, but BOY HOWDY you are gonna enjoy it when I post about 'em!

I've been trying to get a handle on this whole career switch thing. On the one hand, it's been pretty traumatic, because hey, NO JOB, but on the other hand, I get to spend most days waking up at 11am, trying new kinds of coffee, reading lots of books, and wandering around with my camera. In short, not too shabby. But as an instant gratification-type, I would sort of like to be making money NOW(ish), so I have the comfort of knowing that I can keep this up AFTER the money runs out.
